    dBKiller limb silencers are made of high-tech technical elastomer, so they can stretch up to 300% and always return to their original form. They are efficient no matter the temperature outside and are simply INDESTRUCTIBLE.

    dBkiller limb silencers do not affect speed. Note that there is no need to add silencers on the crossbow sting as they decrease the speed of the arrow. As another benefit, the point of impact is not affected after the installation.

Easy installation

    Each product has its own influence on speed. For example, dBKiller Bumpers (ABB technology), correctly installed according to instructions, increases the speed by a few feet/second. As for dBKiller attached to crossbow limbs, if properly installed, there will be only a slight loss of speed. For example, when adding a dBKiller kit on my Excalibur Matrix 380 crossbow limbs, I only lost 1 foot per second of speed ! This loss of speed is so minimal that scope adjustment was not necessary : the point of impact remains unchanged.

  • Will DrStirrup produce dBKillers to install on strings of bows and crossbows ?

    I do not intend to market such a product; any accessory attached to the string leads to a significant loss of speed, which is not acceptable in my point of view.

  • What can I do to eliminate the sound of “guitar strings” when shooting ?

    I have a whole other approach for eliminating string noise. The main reason the string makes noise is that when the arrow is discharged during the shot, the string continues its movement and swings strongly back and forth several times before it finally stops moving. These numerous movements also reflect on the limbs, making them suffer from incredible vibratory oscillations. All these movements generate noise and vibrations, and the only way to eliminate this problem, in my opinion, is by installing dBKiller on the limbs and more importantly, dBKiller Bumpers to stop the string movement as soon as the arrow leaves the crossbow barrel.
